Piercing Aftercare Instructions
The following are aftercare instructions for your new piercing. Gilded Raven recommends that you adhere to all of these instructions. Failure to comply may damage the piercing and increase the risk of infection.
General Aftercare Practices. SHALL BE DONE WITH CLEAN HANDS.

Spray sterile saline solution on the front and back 2 to 3 times a day.

Rinse well in the shower and gently pat dry with, disposable paper products (no clothtowels) or use a low-setting hairdryer.

Keep bedding clean and wear clean, comfortable clothes that do not snag the jewelry.

For oral piercings, use alcohol-free mouthwash after eating, drinking, or smoking.

Avoid touching, twisting or rotating the jewelry as this disrupts healing.

Stay away from alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and fragranced soaps, which will dry out theskin and slow healing.

Avoid petroleum-based ointments like Neosporin as they block oxygen.

Do not fully submerge the piercing in any pool, lake, hot tub for 4 to 8 weeks.

Do not change the jewelry until fully healed as directed by the piercing artist.
